2 years: Youth Advisory Board (by the end of senior year)
2 years: Freshman Mentor (by the end of senior year)
2 years: Cheerleading
2 years: cross country (by the end of senior year)
3 years: Swimteam (by the end of senior year)
3 years: California Scholarship Federation (by the end of senior year)
-a bunch of hours volunteering for my school and a local community
-4.02 weighted GPA,3.78 unweighted as of junior year
-I took ceramics at the local college
-research internship at UCSF for one summer
-I'll have 6 years of high school math by the end of high school
-AP's taken: AP World with a 5. AP Stats, score not back yet.
-Next year I'm taking AP Bio, AP Calc ab, and AP lit, along with 3rd year of french and a history.
-My last SAT was beginning of junior year, so I don't think the score is relevant anymore.
CR: 620 M:560 w:620
-I'm taking it again in october, taking the ACT in the fall, and
taking my subject tests in world history, math2, and lit.
-I'm a white girl, I don't know if that will help or hinder.
-I want to major in Biology</p>

<p>with those sat scores, vandy, tufts, emory and cornell are extremely large reaches. being a white girl hinders (sorry :()</p>

<p>That Math score might not qualify you for the most selective colleges on the list, especially if you are contemplating a science major. Are you looking at the Ag. School (or whatever it’s called now) at Cornell? If you’re considering the College of Arts & Sciences, I’d say it’s a long reach, despite your excellent grades. Are you an NJ resident? You should have excellent chances at Rutgers, if so.</p>

<p>You better, or you can cross off all the tech schools on your list. You’re probably going to need a 670+.</p>
