An estimated percentage would be great! I don't really see how words like "reach" corresponds to the chances of someone actually getting into a school. But all input is GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks so much for reading!

Cornell CALS ED - in
Columbia SEAS - eh
Northwestern - in
Carnegie Mellon - in
UI Urbana-Champaign - in
University of Michigan Ann Arbor EA - in
New York University - in
UC Berkeley - eh
UCLA - eh

@bleedblue12345: Thanks for your input!

slight bump : )

you should be in at Michigan and if you are applying EA, doesnt that mean you go there no matter what? or is that ED?

either way, good luck!

@SuperHenderson13: Thanks for your response! Early Action isnt binding so I can wait till April/May before I make a decision if I get in : )

slight bump : ) anyone else?

oh alright, the only 4 i think you might have trouble getting into to is UCLA, Cornell, Columbia, and UC Berk. but everyone has trouble getting in there

good luck!

@SuperHenderson13: Thanks!

bump : ) Additional input would be greatly appreciated!

You have really solid stats and seem to know what you want and are doing…I’ll give this my best shot.

Cornell CALS ED - Definitely a chance but Ivies are hard to predict.
Columbia SEAS - Same as Cornell, maybe slightly less of a chance.
Northwestern - Match
Carnegie Mellon - Match
UI Urbana-Champaign - Match
University of Michigan Ann Arbor EA - Match
New York University - Very low reach, probably in.
UC Berkeley - Low-mid reach.
UCLA - Low-mid reach.

Good luck!

@Strikeb4ck: Thanks and good luck to you too : )

bumpity bump~

Can anyone else give their thoughts? Appreciate it : )

Lol Columbia regular decision is not the same as Cornell Early Decision. There’s like a 20% difference in acceptance rate.

That being said I don’t think you’re going to get into Columbia with that SAT/GPA, but there’s always a chance.

You should be in everywhere else except perhaps Berkeley and Northwestern.

@Nosike: There is a huge difference between Columbia College and Columbia SEAS as they are in different application processes. That being said I believe that, Columbia SEAS is roughly on par with Cornell. However, I agree that the liberal arts part of Columbia is significantly harder for me to gain admission to.

Thanks for your input! Looking forward to more responses! : )

Cornell CALS ED - very good chance
Columbia SEAS - low-mid reach
Northwestern - in
Carnegie Mellon - low reach/high match?
UI Urbana-Champaign - not sure
University of Michigan Ann Arbor EA - in
New York University - in
UC Berkeley - iffy because the UCs are more concerned with stats than anything else
UCLA - ^^

@idkididk: Thanks so much for chancing!

Keep it coming! : )

I definitely feel like you have a great shot for all of the colleges you are looking at. I can almost say that you are 80 to 90 percent in for all of the colleges except Columbia.

Also, I do not think you have to retake the SAT II for Biology especially because you already have two very good scores.

Overall, I hope for the best. Your scores are great, your extracurricular activities are good and your resume in its entirety matches well with the schools you are looking at.

@arod13: Thanks so much! I hope you’re right haha

bumpity bump! keep it coming! : )

bump! anyone else wanna give it a shot? will chance back!

your extra curriculars are solid and your scores are good for all of the schools id say u have an awesome shot at carnegie mellon and i can see you at cornell and columbia your grades are in the ballpark for them they are just a lottery though but you are definetely a strong competitor

@workhorse92: Thanks!

BUMP! : )

Your app looks really solid
nice balance in stats and ECs i cant see your chemistry score, but if you have the time (and the confidence)- it might just be worth trying to get that 3rd subject over 750

I would say you have about a 60-70% chance at most of the schools including Cornell, but Columbia is a bit of a wild card

chance me back?- http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1006553-senior-chance-ivies-ehhhh-grades.html :)
