Chance me for a variety please! *Will chance back!!*

Hey everyone!

My essays for each of these schools have been "awesome" according to my teachers and parents

Schools (if not accepted into Syracuse):
UMass-Amherst
George Mason University ("Modern Minds Application")
University of TN-Knoxville
PSU UP (Majority of my family have attended here, legacy bonus?)

ACT Composite: 25, Math 18, English 26, Writing 6 (I have no idea what happened here), Reading 33
I'm an A.P. Scholar, hopefully with distinction after this year, previous A.P. Courses, European History (5 on the exam), Language & Composition (4), APUSH (4)

Current Year Courses:
Philosophy (A+)
A.P. Biology (A+)
A.P. English Lit. (A)
Pre-Calculus Honors (B+)
A.P. U.S. Government (B+)
A.P. Macroeconomics (A)
Visual Art (A)

Approximate GPA 3.3, both weighted and unweighted, my school has a very odd system
I'm applying for Pre-Veterinary Studies or Information Management and security/sciences,
I believe all of my Rec's will be fantastic

EC's:
Work, cook all throughout Junior year, around 60 hours spent
Student Govt.: Model U.N. and Youth Legislature, combined around 30 hours spent
Caretaker for animals/pets, around 50 hours spent throughout HS
Technical Helper, Team leader, around 20 hours spent

Volunteering:
Around 40 hours of work for an Animal Welfare center, promoting the group and animal rights etc
Nashville Flood of 2010 Repairs/Relief, 15ish hours

I'm LGBT and currently residing in the south, so hopefully this will improve my chances, thanks :)

Can I get a bump!

1) im pretty sure being LGBT doesn’t improve anything.
2) you are fine for all of the schools, just try to raise your ACT score a bit
3) what kind of twisted AP Biology class are you taking that you have an A+?

Hey, I didn’t know, was just saying! Haha

Awesome, thanks :D

Bio is one of my best subjects, plus I typically do the best on tests so the curve my teacher throws in bumps my average up quite a bit!

I would agree with tyrtle, you could work on your test scores, maybe try the SAT? Other than that, it’s pretty impressive that youre an AP scholar and it shows that you have been taking challenging classes. I’d say that all those colleges are midmatches to low reaches.

Chance me?
