Chance me for admission/aid and response time?

I would so appreciate if anyone could chance me for admission to CSE? (Environmental engineering)

-OOS
-ACT: 31 (English- 34, Math- 28, Reading- 36, Science- 26, Writing- 29)
-GPA: 4.13 W, 3.78 UW

  • I have taken all honors courses possible except for regular USH over APUSH. I have taken AP World History (4), AP Lang & Comp (5), and I am currently taking AP Lit & Comp, AP Bio, and AP Gov. Other classes include physics, environmental science, biotechnology, psychology, etc.
  • I am a managing editor for my yearbook staff.
  • I began “Social Awareness and Community Action Club” at my school.
  • I have participated in theatre for three years.
  • I have been on student council and campus ministry for four years.
  • I receive a scholarship at my high school yearly because I scored in/above the 95th percentile for my HSPT.
  • I have received the Dartmouth book award, honors every quarter, and character awards in field hockey and lacrosse.

I submitted my application on August 12th.

Do you know your class rank?

What is your current Math level (Calculus? Pre-Calc? Other?)

Without having that information it’s hard to tell. Your ACT is within the 50% range (composite) for CSE but a bit low on the math and science side. CSE is highly intensive in those subjects so consequently the 25th percentile of enrolled students tend to have Math and Science ACT’s around 30.

If you have a hook of some kind that’s going to help your chances. They are also eager to admit more females in case that’s applicable.

Your stats are great for CLA and your ACT should work for CBS in case you were considering biological sciences as well.
