Job:
SAT Tutor: August - Present

Recommendations: Excellent! My English teacher loves me and is a fantastic writer. My Stat/Pre-Calc teacher has known me for 2 years and also loves me.

How are you a SAT tutor if you haven’t taken it yet? Idk I found that ironic haha. Anyways you look like you have a pretty good chance.

Vanderbilt has a no loans fantastic ability to pay out generous need money so if you can afford your CSS Profile plus FAFSA estimated cost of attendance you are golden. If your family is uncomfortable with that option which is not always doable, your chances at merit scholarships in general are much harder to predict since the entire freshman class is in many ways equally qualified on academics alone. Best bet is to find at least one good college you can afford and to spread the love to make sure you are prepared to attend a financial safety college. Then write your best essays and make your best effort in the merit scholarship applications. best of luck!

Not particularly competitive for a big scholarship. But as said above, they’ll meet 100% of your need and just leave you to pay your EFC.
