<p>I'm a junior right now, just wanted to know how I'd do..</p>

<p>Asian, Female from NJ.
High school: Public, sends some students to top schools</p>

<p>I believe it’s only a frosh+soph year gpa/class rank, but here goes: </p>

<p>GPA: 3.67 W
Class rank: 58/327
SAT: took it in march; my psat came out to 201.
SAT II: Chinese: 800
American History and Chemistry, taking it in May.
I plan to take the AP US History Chem and Chinese tests in May, too.</p>

<p>I've taken mostly honors classes, except for math and spanish, and some electives. Also taking AP American History 2 and AP Chemistry this year.</p>

Mock Trial [soph, junior] sophomore year I was a witness, this year I was the defendant

R.E.A.C.H. (Resposible Educated Adolescents Can Help) -selective group of students who basically go teach elementary school kids about good decision making, self esteem and such so, along with chaperoning middle school dances and coordinating events for them. [junior]
Design Editor for school newspaper [soph, junior]
History Club- National History Day project [fresh, soph, junior]
Spanish National Honor Society </p>

<p>Hospital volunteering [should be almost 100hrs]
Chinese school volunteering [dunno how many hrs., probably more than 100.]</p>

<p>Graduated all 12 levels of Chinese school in freshman year and took the HSK (Chinese proficiency test) </p>

<p>Study Abroad/summer program in China with scholarship for about 6 weeks, was also in charge of 5 other students younger than me.</p>

<p>Your GPA is a little bit on the low end. However, if you bring it up some, and receive good SAT scores I could see you being accepted to any one of those schools. If you don't up your GPA though, the privates and out of states might be difficult. Just work hard for the rest of this year, and make sure you do well as a senior. The mid year report can be very important.</p>

<p>I feel like I had the most unoriginal college choices. BU, AU, and GWU are my top three as well. I see those three show up everywhere. Your GPA is a little low; your SAT might be alright.</p>

<p>lots of colleges take TOEFL scores.
i would take the Mandarin one to up your chances.</p>
