<p>Asian female, HS senior from a large, VERY competitive TX high school. Regular decision for all schools.</p>

<p>GPA: 3.4 (UW), 5.0 on a 6.0 scale
Rank: Top 35% (yeeesh, but I'm getting close to top quarter...)
SAT (using score choice): CR - 800, M - 610, W - 730 (CR+M-1410, total-2140)
AP's so far: World History, US History, English Language & Composition, Spanish Language (5's on all exams except World History)
Senior schedule (just my core classes): AP English Lit/Comp, Precalculus, Honors Physics, AP US Government/AP Macroeconomics, Hindi I
EC's: Member of the International Thespian Society for three years of HS (apprentice freshman year), reporter/editor for my school newspaper, Decathlete, Model UN member. Planning on starting a community service project this year.</p>

<p>I love all the schools, but I don't know if I even have a chance. Help me out!</p>

<p>I’m not too familiar with Pitzer, but I know that for American and BU it may be a slight reach due to your GPA and class rank. I guess it also depends on what program/ school you’re applying to. You can easily get into CGS at BU, but College of Engineering…probably not.</p>

<p>I would just advise you to work extra hard this semester of your senior year. Try to get that GPA up there and also bring up your class rank to top 25% if you can. The good thing is that your SAT score is really good, so that will definitely help.</p>
