Your stats are really great! Make sure you are in contact with your Admission’s Rep as interest is one of the top three criteria. If you haven’t visited try to do so before the decisions are released. If you have not submitted your application, make sure to write the optional essay and you might put something specific about what you love about AU & why you feel you are a fit in the additional information section. But make sure that’s pretty short - one paragraph. My son used it to explain that he was interested in the AU scholars program & why it was a fit for him.
Will do! I am applying to the Global Scholars Program so I will definitely talk about that, but I do not see an additional information section other than the supplement (if it is there then can someone point it out to me). Thanks so much
@sahmkc do I fit for RD? I do not really have a top choice school and American is in my top 3, but I am worried they will deny me because of RD. I do not want them thinking that American is my safety when it is not.
Are you using the Common Application? There is one on that application, but I don’t know about the Coalition Application. The best way for them not to think AU is your safety is to express interest through visiting and contact with your Admissions Counselor. If you can’t visit, let your A.C. know that it’s due to distance or scheduling.
