<p>I would like to be admitted to a 3+2 program for occupational therapy and have been pursuing the internet for schools that offer that program. I'm mainly looking at my chances for Shawnee State University, because they offer a bachelors in Psychology rather than biology or kinesiology; however, chances for this type of program in general as also greatly appreciated. </p>
<p>Here's some info on the Shawnee program: A maximum of 10 applicants will be admitted each year (4,520 undergrads), Minimum ACT composite score of 25 and minimum high school GPA of 3.5.</p>
<p>My unweighted GPA hovers around 3.75, while weighted is around 4.33. We don't have class rankings, but the top 15% were notified about a scholarship program, so I am at least in the top 15.
By the end of this year, I will have taken 8 APs
I take all honors and APs (small, private school so not many options)
Over 500 hours of volunteer work and well as work experience with children
SAT: single 2090 (M-730, R- 710, W- 650) and super (W-690)
ACT composite: 30 (E- 30, M- 28, R-36, S-27, E/W- 28) That was without studying at all, if I retook I could definitely get 32 and above. ACT is what they look at for admittance.
Good extra curriculars.
My SAT IIs are not fabulous, English Lit, Math II, and US are in the 600s :(</p>
<p>Will gladly add more if I am being to vague. Just wondering what you think my chances of admittance to the program are and if you think that I should retake the ACT. Thanks so much!</p>
