Chance Me for Andover, current 9th Grader

Hi all, applying to Andover for 10th grade. Thanks for reading this.
4.0 GPA last year including Honors English, Honors Algebra 2 and Honors Bio.
Maintaining a 4.0 this year with AP World History, AP Chem, Honors Precalc, and Honors English.

SSAT scores to be determined, but I scored a 2210 on the SAT and am consistently getting 99% percentile scale on practice tests (I know it may not be completely accurate in terms of adherence to real results). Still, should be good there.

ECs:
Qualified for USA Junior Math Olympiad last year (8th Grade) as a result of being a top 180 AMC/AIME taker for the under 10th Grade group. --> received interest & application info from both Exeter and Andover.

National Science Bowl Champions, Captain

3 different Community Service organizations, won Carson Scholarship Award for Service / Academics

8 years of Piano and 4 years of Clarinet. Played in All-Region Honor Band and received Gold Rating from state solo competition.

That about wraps it up. Thanks for your thoughts!

Since you received interest info from Andover I’d say you have a pretty good chance. 2210 on the SAT is good; your ECs are too.

I’m also applying to Andover but for 9th grade. I think you defiantly have a better chance than me…but they also look at personality also, so don’t forget about that

Do people not know that definitely and defiantly are not the same words?

Autocorrect apparently doesn’t think they’re the same. I’ve never looked so stupid in writing as since I started writing things on a tablet. Having to proof everything for typos you didn’t make yourself is overkill for casual conversation.

Huh, my iPhone doesn’t do that… Weird.

Thanks for the responses!
Quick update: 99/99/97 SSAT split, with 99 overall.
Recs went very well, interview was decent.

If you got interest info, that’s definitely a good sign!
