Hey guys. I have posted this before but I just wanted to give you guys my full application profile and ask if I will probably get into these schools

Soccer: Captain of school team, coach's recommendation for acception
Grades: 3.5 GPA at a rigorous private school
Interviews: All went very well with a very good conversation
Teacher Recs: English and Principal are glowing, English and Spanish are good
Essays: Very good in my opinion
SSAT: 70 percentile (Im scared because of this0

Thanks so much and I want your honest opinions for these schools whether it is a yes, no, or waitlist. Thanks guys!

You should be glad you got a 70…I got 52 and I’m banging my head on my desk with worry. That being said, you seem like a great applicant. I am also applying to Andover and Exeter. These school are highly selective, but I think you have a good chance of getting in to at least one of your schools on your list. Good Luck and Happy 2 days before deadlines!!

With a 70% SSAT score, why are u only applying to schools at the very far upper end of the SSAT spectrum?

Unless u are a recruited athlete or URM, I think your chances are improbable at all the schools on your list.

I am a recruited athlete. I mentioned that the coaches put words in for admissions

My SSAT is actually a 75 that was a typo sorry

Thank you sorifootball13. And I know I probably won’t get into Andover or Exeter or Deerfield. I am wondering about Hotchkiss, Middlesex, and Lville

Hotchkiss, Middlesex, and Lawrenceville have pretty much the same acceptance rate as Deerfield and Exeter. Andover’s is slightly lower, but I mean, jumping out of a plane with a parachute that has a 1 in 6 chance of opening is almost the same thing as a 1 in 8 opening chance.

Those schools are on the same tier, and equally as hard to get into. Good Luck.

I believe a recruited athlete means that the school is recruiting you, not that your present coach gave you a recommendation. I would suspect that a 75% SSAT is not good enough. What was your math recommendation.

I’m saying that some of the schools i listed have recruited me and that is why i am applying. i do have my current coach’s recommendation as well but the coach’s at some of the coach’s at these schools are putting in a word for admission for me.

what grade are you applying to?

I am applying for the 2014-2015 year as a 9th grader
