Chances me for acceptance with low ACT?
Bump
Easy in, I believe you are an auto accept with your gpa. Barrett (if you apply) would be much more difficult.
@blountwil2 what are the stats for Barrett honors? Do you think I have a chance of getting in there too is I raise my ACT to a 29 and keep my GPA ?
@blountwil2 also, what about for nursing, I looked at the requirements for the direct entrance to the nursing program there and I met all of them, but I’m wondering if they hold OOS students to higher standards
I believe 29 is around average for Barrett honors and your gpa sounds fine imo. Are you a senior however? If you apply early it is easier, the later rounds they accept practically nobody compared to the early action set
As long as you meet the requirements you are in. Asu doesn’t really practice holistic review so you should be fine
@blountwil2 Nope, I’m a junior. However when I am a senior, when do you think it’s the best time to apply?
Did you take the PSAT? If you are a national merit scholar or National hispanic merit scholar you might get free tuition.
I think you’d be fine for admittance - Barrett would need at least a 29 I think, maybe higher. The nursing program at ASU is at the downtown Phoenix campus, which is a good 20-30 minutes away from the main Tempe campus (something to consider if you were planning on living on the main campus in Tempe). They have a Barrett program at the downtown campus as well but you might want to look into the details of that more … the admittance rates to that may be different and/or more in your favor?
