What do you guys say will I get accepted or declined?
You have a very strong chance of getting into Babson! Your GPA and ACT hit perfectly with their averages, and with your weighted GPA, it is obvious that you are taking rigorous classes. You say that you have decent EC’s, but maybe it would help if you could elaborate? Also, the fact that you say you have good recs and your essays are strong definitely helps!
I think you should be optimistic, but also be sure that you’re happy with your safeties! I would really appreciate it if you could take a look at my Brown chance me and be completely honest, as well as provide other schools if Brown is beyond my reach. I wish you the best of luck!
@Jack1212 While they don’t pick students based on the school they attend, it does help if students from your school have gone there in the past. For example, if in each of the past three years 4 students got in and 3 attended, then they’d be more likely to accept you since it is more likely that you’d actually attend. On the other hand, if in each of the past three years 6-8 students have gotten in and overall only 1 or 2 have attended (like 1 or 2 out of about 21), then they might be less likely to accept since they don’t think you’ll attend. All of that said, this shouldn’t make a difference for you as your stats are still strong enough to get in. What matters more is how you compare to your classmates in terms of GPA, but you should be confident.
