Chance me for Barnard ED or RD

yes I know these are pretty subjective bc its just stores and not essays + letters of recs, but anyway…

white female, first generation college student, low/middle class,

Scores:
(my school doesn’t rank but possibly top 15-10% not sure)
GPA w: 4.22 uw: 3.8
SAT: 1470, 750 reading/writing, 720 math
SAT subject: bio- 710, us history- 740
APs: gov (5), psych (5), lang (5), apush (5), bio (5), ab calc (4)
also IB econ and i got a 5 out of 7 possible points (4 is passing)

all core classes have been either honors or ap, other than precalculus. my school weights gpa w/ regular/honors being 4.0 and ap/ib being 5.0 for A’s

Dual enrolled Geospatial tools and techniques

Extracurriculars:

since august 2017, working 10 hrs a week in retail
Yoga exchange program: 2 hour shifts at front desk in exchange for free classes
volunteer at animal shelter 2hr a month to clean cages + feed cats
summer 2016: volunteer at a summer camp for a month
summer 2018: (possible) internship at an environmental action group in my city
I also regularly petsit for a couple neighbors and have since 6th grade

Awards:
Student of the semester in AP biology
Student of the semester in Precalculus

Prospective major is either neuroscience, bio, but probably neuroscience

I’m a mom of a 2016 applicant. I highly recommend applying ED. The acceptance rate is much higher than RD. D16 was lucky enough to get on the waitlist, but the waitlist is need aware. If you are low/middle class, you won’t get off the waitlist.

“low/middle class” and ED don’t mix. The OP can try running the NPC to determine whether Barnard will be affordable, but the NPC is a rough estimate, not a guarantee.
