I’m also doing an interview with a Barnard alum before the ED deadline! Don’t know if that could significantly increase my chances?

It is a reach for you. Your ACT is below the 25th percentile and your GPA is below the average. Being a URM may help. https://admissions.barnard.edu/sites/default/files/class_of_2021_profile_1.pdf

That said, it is perfectly fine to apply to a reach school or two. Just be sure you also have match/safety schools that appear affordable and that you would be excited to attend on your application list as well.

Keep in mind that if you want the opportunity to compare financial offers from different colleges then ED may not be the best way to go.
