<p>Sure… I think your test scores and EC’s look good. I do think that your GPA is on the lower side for the College of Engineering. You have similar stats to my son (he’s a freshman this year, Undeclared Engineering Major), with the exception of the GPA. I think being OOS at this time may work in your favor as Cal has been increasing the OOS acceptance rate. I’m not good with assigning percentages, but I certainly think you should apply and I do think you have a good shot of being accepted. Berkeley uses a holistic approach to admissions so I would really work on your essays. Don’t just say what you think they want to hear; be genuine and honest in your tone. Good luck.</p>
