Thank you in advance!! :) If you do chance me, please post the link to your threads so I can chance back. :D

You have good chances at CMU and Berkeley, and Brown is a low-mid reach. Other than that, the others seem like reaches. Your research adds a lot to your app (considering the SAT score is a bit lower than needed), so I wouldn’t discount the possibility of being admitted to one of the other colleges!

UC Berkeley In
Stanford University Reach
Princeton University Reach
Yale University Reach
MIT Reach/Match
Brown University match
Caltech Reach
Columbia University Reach
Cornell University Match/In
Carnegie Mellon University In

i’d agree with SpEeDyZ since you can never tell with hyps or even columbia. you might want to raise some of the latter sat ii’s if you REALLY want to be competitive, but your scores are by no means bad. good luck! and chance me back!

@MaydayLove - They asked questions such as why I was interested in their school (place special emphasis to this), what are my career aspirations, what activities I did at school, why I chose my major, what my personal background is, basically what makes me tick…then they gave me a chance to ask them questions about their experiences at their respective universities. They want to know if you’re a good addition to their school, if you’re really interested, and whatnot. If you search, CC actually has a lot of resources and tips for college interviews!

To be honest, I think your biggest reach will be Caltech given its avoidance of any type of AA (racial or economic). I think you have good shots at all the rest though.

UC Berkeley: High Match
Stanford University: Reach
Princeton University: Reach
Yale University: Reach
MIT: Reach
Brown University: Low-Mid Reach
Caltech: Reach
Columbia University: Reach
Cornell University: Low Reach
Carnegie Mellon University: Match

UC Berkeley Match
Stanford University High reach
Princeton University High reach
Yale University High reach
MIT High reach (well yeah)
Brown University Mid-high reach
Caltech high reach
Columbia University high reach
Cornell University Low reach
Carnegie Mellon University Match

Your profile is pretty good. I can’t really see much about the ivies and other top schools, but I think you’ll get into more than 3 of your top choices. :)

Okay. 1. What is an AA? Second, Thanks for the chance. Thrid … I think you have a great shot at all of the schools. Caltech, is a higher reach, but other than that I think you are in at a majority of your schools.

UC Berkeley: Low reach (given that you are from CA and that Cals are becoming harder for in-state)
Stanford University: Highest reach
Princeton University: Very high reach
Yale University: Very high reach
MIT: Very High reach
Brown University: Reach
Caltech: High reach (although Caltech does highly value STEM activities)
Columbia University: Reach
Cornell University: Very High Match
Carnegie Mellon University: Match

However, if you got paired with a top college via QuestBridge, then this is all irrelevant.

You may have a difficult time getting into Yale and Princeton University, but everything you have shown is is perfect. I would not be surprised if you were accepted into all of the listed colleges.
