Chance me for Berkeley/UCLA/USC/Cornell

Yes, I know my test scores aren't the best considering my ethnicity. My extracurriculars are pretty typical. I'm certainly not HYP material. But let me know what you think. Thank you fellow CCers! :)

Teacher Recommendation: Uncertain. I asked for rec letters from my math teacher, as well as two of my history teachers. Hopefully they're well-written because they all like me, haha

What’s your intended major?

Your GPA/class rank and community service is the strength of your application. Your SAT score is within range for most of your schools except Cornell but that may also depend on your intended major at the others. Your ECs are kind of “thin”.

UCLA and USC are probables, UCB is possible, and Cornell is probably unlikely. I would probably apply to one or two more UCs if you aren’t already planning to do so-- maybe UCSD, UCD, or UCI-- just in case.

Good luck!

I’m planning to major in Biology (specifically bioethics/biology and how it relates to society). Thank you for all your help!
