Planning to get recommendations from my counselor, two teachers, and from a Cal State professor.

I intend to major in pre-med. I don't have any hooks.

CHANCE ME PLEASE!

Very strong chance, nothing to worry about. I’d be very surprised if you were rejected.

Wow, that seriously looks AMAZING!! Like the user above me said, I’d be very surprised if you didn’t get it. It’s good that you know what college you want to go to, that way you can start the application early (writing the essays, most importantly).
I think that maybe writing about your work with that cyberbullying group or your other board of director/officer experience with the other clubs would be good
But, again, very strong candidate for Cal

Thanks guys for the feedback. I truly appreciate it. And yes, I was thinking about writing my essays on those topics. :)

Yeah, extremely strong chance; you’re significantly above the typical student that gets admitted, show strong leadership, and generally look like an excellent fit for the culture on campus.

Just a note: UC Berkeley doesn’t look at letter of recommendations, but the rest of your application should stand on its own extremely well. Also, there isn’t exactly a well-defined “pre-med” program, so you better figure out whether you want to do MCB, BioE, etc.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I forgot that UC’s don’t need recommendations, so one less thing for me to do. :stuck_out_tongue: And as for the “pre-med” program, I will probably do MCB.

Time to give back to Berkeley…
From what it looks like, you’ve got a really good shot to get into Berkeley.
Try for more reach schoools!

Haha I don’t go to Troy.
