<p>Yup as long as IGETC is done you’ll be good, presuming you don’t screw the pooch on your personal statement. I’m an English major - got in with 3.7 and zero EC.</p>

<p>Your chances look good. Like Keely said, don’t flub the personal statement. I think it would look really bad for any writing-based major to have a poor or mediocre personal statement. </p>

<p>@keely & cardinal: Of course my personal statements are going to be as close to perfect as I can get them. I figured there’s some sort of give and take when it comes to components of the application (weak ECs, better have strong personal statements & vice versa).</p>
