Applying to EECS in Berkeley. I'm aware my EC's are weak and that EECS is extremely competitive.
I estimate myself an average or lower shot, what can you tell me?

match/ high match if you’re in state. if you live in cali you’re in good shape, do some volunteer hours:)

I do live in Cal. However, I got rejected from UCLA is why I’m so worried.

Those are some really good stats. I’m surprised you were rejected from UCLA, but all hope is not lost, yet… Berkeley may surprise you.

Do you have a back-up school that you’ll be happy with?

Got into carnegie mellon but I really want UCB :p

If UCB doesn’t come through, you can’t go wrong with CMU.

UCLA and UCB are weird with their admissions criteria.

Did you get rejected from EE at UCLA?

No computer eng, but EE was my alt major

Welp, got rejected from berkeley there goes my first choice
