Chance me for BME or biology at these places!

Demographics: Nothing special, white guy. I’m an atheist, though, if that helps anything at all.
Intended major(s): Going into either astrophysics or biomedical, haven’t decided yet, might double
Academics:
ACT: 33 comp, 36 English, 33 Reading, 34 Science, 30 Math, retaking in October
SAT: Haven’t taken it yet
SAT II: Haven’t taken it yet, taking Math 2 and Molecular Bio in November
Class rank: Don’t receive it
UW/W GPA: UW GPA: 3.75, W GPA: 4.35, UC GPA 4.10
Coursework:–My friends and I had this pact at the end of middle school to always take all honors everything, and that still holds today. I’m not sure if it’s helped me or hurt me so far, but it is what it is. I’ve never taken a regular class unless it was the only option. APs are as follows:
AP Euro- 5
AP Lang- 5
AP USH- 4
AP Physics 1- 4
Currently enrolled in AP: Lit, Physics 2, Biology, Calc AB, and Gov. Gonna be a fun year…
Awards: National Merit Commended, missed Semi by a single point… Yeah. I’m also Principle’s Honor Roll and AP Scholar, but so is everyone. Also an Eagle Scout, 1s at State Orchestra Small Ensemble, District Orchestra first viola.
ECs: First viola at my school and first in the District honor orch, I also tutor violin on the side. Was involved in Boy Scouts until I Eagled out. JV Tennis, no championships; Won NaNoWriMo four times in four years, and I write other novels on the side for fun. NHS for Spanish, Math, Science, Music, and Regular, and President of History; Varsity on my school’s Scholar’s Bowl (Basically Quiz Bowl).
Schools: Currently working on: Uchicago, WashU, Northwestern, Stanford, Columbia, Berkeley, Cornell, Johns Hopkins. Those are all pretty high-level because I’ve been accepted already to my safeties, so I figured to shoot high. Why not.
Additional: I’ve been told that my greatest strengths are in my essays, but I’m not comfortable releasing them on here… I mean, I trust you guys, but all the same. I am particularly proud of my UChicago supplement.

That was a slog, I’m sure it’s worse to read. Thanks for looking!

Though your ACT is great, schools like UChicago, Columbia, and Stanford are reaches for many. UCB, Cornell, and Northwestern are more likely. The ivies aren’t impossible to get into, but they’re not as probable because it’s very competitive. That pact has seemed to work for you. Also, congratulations on your safety school acceptances.

Good luck.

@htms13ytk Thanks haha. Yeah, I’m not too hopeful on my odds at any one ivy, that’s why I’m casting such a wide net here. I’ve been considering WashU, Northwestern, Johns Hopkins and Cornell as something of a ‘step down’ in difficulty and thus more likely than the others, so I’m letting myself be more optimistic about my chances there. As for the highers, Stanford is my first choice, but… being realistic for a second, I probably won’t get in. Here’s to trying.
