I also have a very unique essay. Maybe even a little crazy but my English teacher and everyone that reads it is left in awe.

If there’s anything else you want to know just ask and please give me an honest answer! Thanks so much!

Your SATs are at 1980. The middle 50% of BC’s accepted students last year had SATs in the range of 1910-2125. That puts you about 1/3 the way into that range.

80% of BC’s students are in the top 10% of their class. You’re somewhere in the top 14% of your class.

While the above stats may be sobering, don’t give up. Think about why you want to go to BC, and what is is about you that would make the BC adcoms feel you’ll add value to the student body (and accept you).

Not a total reach, but you may want to try and retake the SAT or ACT for better results, depending on how many times you’ve already taken them. Your standardized results, besides the essay, are the only aspects you really have any ability to influence at this point.

Since you are taking AP Lit, I’d suggest retaking the SAT in December, and apply RD. The sub-600 CR score just sticks out and will be noticed by a college with a Core curriculum. As a Bio prospy, did you take AP Bio or is it not offered at your HS? Is AP History offered at your HS?

(I only ask bcos your schedule includes three so-called AP lites: Enviro, Calc AB, Psych, as well as a college prep course, anatomy.)

I signed up for the November SAT and am just hoping that my score improves…thank for all of your advice but so answer your question I was going to take AP history last year but was worried that I was ready because it’s considered very difficult at my school(I go to the best public high school in my area which gets national recognition for our test scores…not to sound like a total jerk just so that you get a better feel haha) softer I did well this year I decided to take AP lit and my school doesn’t offer AP history for seniors. As for bio to be completely honest I needed another AP so I decided on environmental because I didn’t want overload myself(i wish I would’ve taken bio) but anatomy includes everything that I would learn in AP bio so idk if that answers your question?
