3.65gpa unweighted by junior year. 4 AP classes (only 5 available) all the rest honors. Captains of sport teams, 100+ hours of volunteering. SAT hoping 1900+ and maybe take ACT? president of two clubs. Science fair third place winner and honorable mention, very prestigious fair. Invited to a environmental national conference in DC, selected only 250 across the nation. national science merit award.
What are my chances please be honest :) I hope to do early admission to maybe give me a better chance?

If you think this is a reach any other schools in the area you suggest, mainly for science fields or teaching preferably thanks:)

What state do you live in? I’m from California and have similar qualifications and my college counselor thinks that it’s a reach school. She said that for some reason Boston College accepts more people from the New England area, and that people from states like California have a hard time getting in even if they’re totally qualified. She also mentioned that she had many well qualified students apply to Boston College, and that the only ones that got in were the ones that indicated that they were Roman Catholic. So if you don’t live in the New England area and you aren’t Catholic then you’ll probably have a hard time since your gpa/sat aren’t out of this world amazing.

im from massachusetts and am catholic as well(: i still think it might be a reach for me regardless but i have heard that if you write a good essay they usually like to see people who “fit into the college” so i might have an edge there as you mentioned.

Yeah it’s probably still a reach just because it’s such a selective school. I think you have a pretty good chance though, I’m really jealous because I want to go there as well. Good luck! :)

I would think you have a good chance too because they need to have some diversity from other states if you get what im saying? I think you have a good chance as well good luck to us both i guess!!
