<p>I am a current junior and Bowdoin is my first choice. I will be applying EDI. My GPA is around a 3.85 unweighted, 4.60 weighted and I am within the top 3% of my class. My senior year schedule is </p>

<p>Calculus III and Linear Algebra
AP European History
AP Biology
Italian 4 Honors
Literature and Philosophy Honors
Physics 2 Honors
Biochemistry Honors</p>

<p>I will have had 7 APs by the end of high school.
I scored a 1550/1600 or 2280/2400 on the SAT with an 800 critical reading. I will be a National Merit Finalist with a 225 PSAT.</p>

<p>I am the vice president of the Italian Culture Club, which I have been in all of high school. I also play JV lacrosse. I have gone to the Summer at Brown program and I spend summers working for my uncle, who operates a prison release program and owns a construction company and bison ranch.</p>

<p>Do you think I have a very good chance?</p>

<p>I think you would be a great canidate for Bowdoin. Be sure to get good recommendations and a stellar essay and you will be fine!</p>

<p>I think you have an excellent chance -just make sure your essays are in order and try reaching out to the college by interviewing and emailing and such. Of course you don’t want to pester Bowdoin, but the amount of interest you show could be the difference between an acceptance and a waitlist.</p>
