Chance Me for Brandeis? Please!

<p>Hey, everyone! I am a senior at high-school in New Jersey. I’m a white female and I go to a fairly large public high school. These are my stats:</p>

<p>General Stats:
-UW GPA 3.5 (out of 4)
-W GPA 3.895
-I’m in the top 15% of my class (404 students in my grade)
-Highest ACT composite score is 25 (26 writing, 29 math, 23 reading, 24 science)
-I took the SATs but I am not sending them.
-Took the Math II subject test -640</p>

<p>I have taken all honors or AP classes throughout my college career(some AP classes I am currently taking because my school only allows their students to take APs starting at their junior year). These are:

<p>Extra Curricular’s since my Freshman Year:
JV Spring Track and Field-2 years
Key Club
Bottlecappers(We visit elementary and middle schools to talk to students about drug and alcohol safety)-3 years
Model UN- 2 years
Newspaper(I am an editor)-2 years
Yearbook- 2 years
Relay for Life- Team leader and participant since I was about 12 years old
Freshman and Sophomore Council- 2 years
I was also nominated for Girls State in my Junior year.
Camp counselor at a summer camp at a local nature conservancy for elementary school student(1 summer)
Volunteer at my church for several events including Family Promise(This is when my church houses homeless families for a week at a time), Rummage Sales(This is a sale to help raise money for missions in our church) and Vacation Bible School(a 1 week camp in the summer).
Several marking periods on honor roll if that matters lol</p>

<p>I wanted to know if I could get into Brandeis Regular Decision. It would be awesome if anyone could give me some insight. Thanks a lot!</p>

<p>A good source of information for most schools is the “Common Data Set” which can usually be found by googling the name of the school and the words “Common Data Set”. I looked up Brandeis’ CDS, and the link is below.</p>

<p>Question C-9 indicates that 28 is the ACT score for the 25th percentile of students who reported the ACT and who were part of the entering class. Unfortunately, you score is significantly below this measure.</p>

<p>Question C-10 indicates that about 65% of the entering class was in the top 10% of their HS class; Question C-12 that the Average High School GPA for the incoming class was about a 3.8, C-11 and that 83% of the class had a 3.50 or higher. So, your stats are a bit light there also.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, based on these stats, it would appear that Brandeis is a reach for you.</p>
