2000 is low. You would be a good candidate to use Brandeis’ “alternate submission option” instead of submitting SAT scores.

The 25th-75th percentile SAT scores for Brandeis are 1230-1450 for CR and M. Your 1350 is approximately at the 50th percentile. Definitely, in the range. Your scores are not low for Brandeis. Key may be strong essays and strong desire shown via visits, interview, etc. Good luck.

I’ve never interviewed at a college, @soccerdad3, can an interview be conducted even after I applied? Brandeis’ RD deadline was the 8th of this month, I believe – do you think an interview has the potential to make me more competitive or increase my chances of admission?

Not sure if they would still offer an interview. Would need to check with Admissions office. Personally, I think seeking to interview at any university/college that offers this option is always the safest bet. Shows another level of interest in the school.

Update:
I was accepted.
