Looking at Brown’s Common Data Set, your ACT falls below the 25th percentile. In fact a 29 (Brown does not superscore the ACT) puts you at the 13th percentile We can assume many of the students at this level are athletic recruits. ttps://www.brown.edu/about/administration/institutional-research/sites/brown.edu.about.administration.institutional-research/files/uploads/CDS_2017-2018.pdf

Note, Brown also “recommends” 2 SAT2’s. Assuming you are a heritage Spanish speaker, a 770 in Spanish Reading is not going to be terribly impressive.

Also have you run the NPC to see if Brown is even affordable for you and your family. An ED acceptance is binding. But perhaps more relevant to your situation with your scores, is applying ED to Brown going to preclude you from applying EA or ED to other colleges where you have a more reasonable chance of admission.

This is super helpful! Thank you so much!
