Chance me for Brown, Penn, and Georgetown

I know these are all very difficult, do you think i have a chance at them though?

GPA:
9th grade- 3.446
10th- 4.0
11th- 4.0

*Note: I go to a very competitive magnet school where getting a 4.0 junior year is very very rare.

Courseload-
IB Diploma Program- taken during junior and senior years (10+ IB courses)
AP Pscyhology
All 9th/10th grade classes are considered honors due to my school's difficulty.

SAT: 2250
Math SAT II- 750, Chemistry SAT II- 780

Extracurriculars:

Leadership position on 2 clubs since freshman year (relevant to major)- for one of these clubs I organized and raised funds for a service trip to Cambodia

Started a club that increases economic and business opportunities for those with disablities
Started a not for profit that has expanded state-wide

Newspaper editor, school store manager, very accomplished on both DECA and Model UN (for DECA I am on the chapter board, and for MUN I chaired a chapter event)

National Honors Society, Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica, Business Professionals of America, won state business contest, as well as marketing contest sponsored by a large corporation.

Golf Team, published writings, published economic research, writing contests, and golf team.

I also am a 2x winner of the presidential award for volunteer service, and have designed a community service project that I then brought my school as club. Weekly hours through Youth Group, library volunteer, soup kitchen, tutoring, and nursing home visiting.

Summer programs at Brown and Georgetown, as well as that trip to Cambodia.

Thanks for your input, I know these schools are obviously very difficult, but do u think I have a chance? I am worried about freshman GPA.

I’m a Northwestern graduate, who currently helps students get into college.

Your stats are very nice. The first 3 aspects colleges look at are indeed GPA, curriculum difficulty, and standardized test scores, all of which you have. Your test scores are even above the average accepted student for all 3 schools, (but don’t forget there are no guarantees). Don’t be complacent; do everything you can to make yourself stand out.

Here are some school specific requirements:
Georgetown - REQUIRED interview and THREE subject tests
UPenn - interview strongly recommended
Brown - interview optional, but you should do it; THREE LOR (one being from a counselor)

All 3 schools offer Early Application, but Penn states that it highly favors legacy kids in the Early App.

So your tasks should be
(1) take 1 more SAT Subject Test,
(2) get 2 LOR from junior/senior teachers and 1 LOR from your counselor,
(3) decide whether you’re going to apply early
(4) start working on your essay

You could check out more school specific requirements here. All the information on the site comes directly from each school’s admission page, but it’s been compiled in a more organized manor.

nuey hit the nail on the head with his recommendations for what to do. I think while all are automatically reach schools, you do have a very good shot. I would also recommend visiting each school and if one stands out dramatically, apply ed because your chances will be greater. good luck and chance me back please?

Are you Asian?
