<p>General Comments:
brown has only accepted 1 person from my school in the past 5ish years, and the girl accepted is much smarter than me (grade-wise AND extra curriculars).</p>

<p>how many AP courses does your school offer? and how come you aren’t in AP French?
I think that if your essays and teacher recommendations were really great, you should have had a great chance. First Generation college helps too. Test scores are great.
I don’t think the lack of stellar extra curriculars is a problem here…? In comparison to me, that is… Might be disadvantaged b/c of NY.
You should’ve written your essays to the point of loving them; not feeling that they were decent.</p>
