I’d say you are a very competitive applicant for both Brown and PLME.
There’s not much else one can say, but stand out as much as you can with your essays.

You’re pretty competitive, but honestly half of your awards/ECs are filler info that you would be foolish to mention in the limited space CommonApp provides you. So prioritize well and did you mention your GPA?

i kind of agree with smarty99

plme wants things related to medicine

singing and others things are nice for other schools but that just bulks up your plme

Your in brown…

I disagree re above re the singing. I was looking for excelling in something besides “nerd prep”. Just condense things together where you can.

@BrownAlumParent,

for PLME, artsy things help?

In that case, should I submit my art portfolio and classical guitar cd?

It helps to show that you have interests besides medicine, since that’s the whole point of PLME. Only submit them if they’re good.

^“very” good.

Is my SAT score fine though? I feel it needs to be a little higher . . .

Your SAT is fine. I have seen people with scores around 2300 get in. Don’t retake.

You can look at the past ED and RD acceptance threads to see SAT scores that worked.

Scores and ECs are fine, you just have to really focus on your essays, that’ll make or break your application for PLME.

Bumpppppppppppppppppppppppppppp

stop fishing for compliments, wait the eleven days.

GPA/class rank?

Otherwise it looks like you have a really good shot! You should be really proud of everything you have accomplished in high school. Many people I know would kill to have the resume you have :)

Looks good but how did you condense all that information and ECs into 10 activity slots? You had like 35 things for 10 spots
