Hi, I'm a current junior, and I fell in love with Brown the day I visited. I was drawn towards their laid-back yet high-achieving atmosphere, and how everyone there seemed to do what they love and love what they do. I guess that's kind of like my personality - I'm laid back, approachable, yet people know that I don't mess around when it comes to accomplishing my goals. Anyways, I'm thinking of EDing to Brown... any hope for me? I know it's definitely a reach, but how much of a reach?

I know they do seem a little scattered, but it's taken me a while to figure out that I actually want to focus on science (particularly biology). for a while, I was planning on following a programming route, before I finally realized out (in the beginning of this year) that I cannot take being in a cubicle, staring at a computer screen every day for 8 hours for the rest of my life.

In my college applications, I mainly want to focus on giving back to the community through my non-profit organization. I'm probably also going to mention how debate has helped me overcome my shyness and be able to step up and become a leader.

gl to us!!
