Thank you guys. Please be honest
First of all, I would like to congratulate you on all of your amazing accomplishments! It’s evident that you are an extremely driven person. That being said, you are going to be going up against applicants that are equally as driven, and while I don’t feel qualified to chance you, I would say that you are definitely on the right track. (But I’m not an admissions officer, so my opinion really doesn’t mean much.) You have phenomenal test scores, a rigorous schedule, a fair bit of extracurriculars, and being Hispanic sure doesn’t hurt.
My one concern is that I don’t see a lot of activities that relate to your interest in Neuroscience. Your classes give off more of a computer science vibe, and your ECs don’t really scream neuroscience. Have you done any independent research or have a way you could translate how this interest in neuroscience came about?
My only advice would be to focus on your essays - make them personal, powerful, and a true reflection of who you are. You have the scores and the grades, so really it’s going to come down to what makes you unique. Good luck!
I think you’re a strong applicant but nothing is a lock. Remember essays are VERY important. You have very little ECs but it’s good how you have officer positions in them. Also, since weighting is different at every school, you’re uw gpa is what is going to matter (very high btw).
Obviously you seem like a very strong candidate for brown and have great grades and test scores . Keep up the great work and also maybe try to find something special to differentiate you from others
You’ve done really well and I think that there’s nothing more that you can do to improve your chances of getting in. Congratulations on all you’ve accomplished and good luck! If not Brown, you’ll get in somewhere great
Solid academics, but admissions is more than that. Lots of other kids will taken similar classes as you, but still be proud of your unique features, because you’re going to need to express how you’re the perfect fit for Brown to have a better than average chance to attract the reader’s interest. What wisdom have you gained from your classes, schoool and life experiences? Hope that helps. Message me for my essays, I applied as cog neuro.
