CHANCE ME for Brown??

@collegebobollege yes i did hahah case western, northeastern, santa clara etc.

if I were you, I would send that SAT score

@renaissancedad no i did not haha as I only do art as a hobby. And I think my art is strong (at least I hope so) especially because I specialize in both ceramics and 2D art. I didn’t send in an art supplement though; instead I created a website linked into my additional info section that had links for my artwork, dance, music (I sing, play piano and guitar), and my abstracts and graphs from my research over the summer. So hopefully admissions counselors will look at it :o
But haha yeah I have pretty diverging interests and thank you!

@CCLOLL I think it’s a bit too late haha but idk, i didn’t study for it (I only did it for national merit stuff) so it could’ve been higher. plus my ACT score is stronger lol. thanks for your input though !

@musicpen what was your subscores? Because although your ACT score is excellent, if your M+CR score is 1500+, it could definitely give you a little bit of push.

@CCLOLL it was Reading: 750 Math: 780 Writing: 690
But why would this help? just wondering, since I already have a 36

I mean, although 36 ACT alone is good enough, ACT reading section is undeniably easier than that of SAT. and if you scored 750+ in CR and M, I definitely would have sent the score. It shows that you are capable of doing well on both. And the writing score doesn’t matter significantly in your case.

@CCLOLL too late now haha, so anyone else who’s looking at this, take CCLOLL’s advice into consideration! thank you

@CCLOLL do you think I have a chance?

yes

@musicpen I think you are gonna have to throw out the essays for your RD schools :slight_smile:

@anotherone9851 why thank you! and @CCLOLL hahah oops already sent most of em in :stuck_out_tongue: but thank you!! good luck to you :slight_smile:

@musicpen good luck :). If you have time later, chance me back?

If you truly have a 36 (few do), brown shows a little less than 1 in 4 getting in.

Drop that down to a 33-35, your chances drop to 1 in 8.

@ClarinetDad16 Well, I do…along with the 13 other kids who got 36’s from my school alone. Why would I lie about that lol
But yeah, I’ll take 25% over brown’s regular 9% anyday!
