<p>Hey would you guys chance me for brown and plme please?

these are my stats:
I’m in the class of '11.</p>

<p>ethnicity: indian
gender: male
state: MN</p>

<p>School (private):
-GPA: 3.87–> 99.9% guarantee that it’ll be above a 3.9 by the end of junior year</p>

<p>-I’m in all possible honors/ap classes that my school offers
Junior Year schedule:
-AP Calc AB
-Hnrs Chem
-US History
-American Lit

  • Advanced Spanish </p>

<p>Scores:
I haven’t taken SAT yet but these scores are from the practice tests I have taken.
PSAT: 213 if i raise it a little higher i’ll be safely in the NMF area for my state (MN)
SAT-- 2170
SAT II Bio: 720—> should i retake?
AP Bio (self): 4
AP World (self): 5</p>

<p>obviously I’ll need at least 1 or 2 more sat ii tests (right now its between math II, chem, and world history)</p>

<p>Extracurriculars: </p>

<p>Debate:
I was in JV Debate this year (top 15 in state), next year I’ll be in varsity</p>

<p>Speech:

  • In top ten at the state tournament
    -Done well in many of the tournaments all year long. </p>

<p>Quiz Bowl:
Our A team went to nat’ls this year, next year we will most likely go as well. </p>

<p>Tennis:
Played JV 2nd Singles/exhibition on varsity. probably on varsity next year</p>

<p>Karate:
-Have a 1st degree black belt in shotokan karate.</p>

<p>Piano:
-I’m in level 7 of the National Music Certificate Program
-This year I’m playing in the Jazz Band at my school, as well as in my orchestra
-play piano at my local hospital</p>

<p>Math League:
I wasn’t very good this year, but next year I plan on improving my skills significantly.</p>

<p>Research (at nearby college):
Just going to start it this school year, around 4 hrs/week for the whole year. Then a significantly larger amount of time during next summer ('10)</p>

<p>Volunteering:
-100 hrs at local hospital
-10 hrs tutoring a kid in math
-50 hrs volunteering as a counselor at my temple
-10 hrs playing the piano at hospital</p>

<p>because I’m interested in plme, would you recommend doing more medically related stuff?
by the way I am trying to see if I can shadow a doctor… but I don’t have any leads yet :(</p>

<p>Hold up. You’re not even through your junior year. Stop stressing. You’ll do what you need to to get in, or you won’t. Either way, you’re on a good track, you’ll find someplace fun/good/a fit or at least where you can get a degree, and so long as you make the most of your college years you’ll be fine. Brown’s great, but it shouldn’t be an end-goal for your life.</p>

<p>didi you even read the OP? listen to what they said. ur only a junior. Chillax. Take ur sats, do the clubs that itnerest u, work hard, and ur on the right track. no one can give u an accurate prediction</p>
