<p>I’m a junior and a straight A Student. I messed up big time freshman year and I’ve been kind of uneasy about where I should apply ever since. I’m just now going to be a junior and I’m not going to take anything less than Straight A’s. </p>

<p>For an international applicant with a subpar GPA and relatively poor SAT score, you do not have a very good chance. The upward GPA trend and very strong subjective factors will help significantly, though.</p>

<p>@silver She’s NOT intl - that’s just how she identifies. Her GPA is not subpar either if she’s 15/590. APs are strong as are ECs. Not sure SAT is really 2010 but everything else looks solid. I was ~30/1000, had a 3.8 as well and got in with half the APs.</p>

<p>@op I think you have a very solid chance of getting in. Write good essays so you are more than your resume.</p>

<p>My apologies for misreading your post – you did not specify your being domestic or international. However, I stand by the position that her GPA is (slightly) subpar and, moreover, that the SAT score is relatively poor.</p>
