sorry, there was a TYPO. It should be “Chance me for Nursing Major in UD”. :D

Based on the info you provided I would say that you probably have a good to very good chance of being acepted into the Nursing Program. If you could raise your SAT1 scores up to around 2000 combined I would be very, very surprised if you were not accepted. The Nursing Program is becoming increasingly popular and progressively more competitive. While Delaware accepts 42-48% of OOS students who apply overall, the acceptance rate for the Nursing Program for OOS students is closer to 20-25% (and this was 4 years ago). They shoot for a class of around 130 but close to half of these slots appear to be alloted to students from Delaware (making even tougher competition for OOS applicants).

Just one word of caution. Delaware is a stickler (and I do mean a stickler) in liking to see senior HS students take a full (5) course load of intense/quality courses (Honors, AP, or at least college prep) for BOTH semesters of their Sr. year. This is especially true for students who are applying to the most competitive majors at Delaware (i.e. nursing, chemical engineering and at least several others). Delaware does have a high quality Nursing Program that is steadily advancing in the rankings. Good luck to you in the future.

Thanks @Mwallenmd.

Yes, I need to raise my SAT 1 score and work on that.

As for the courses in senior year. I have been thinking about taking AP Physics other than Physiology. But it would be very stressful to have two science classes (AP Chem and AP Physics) in the row. I am intersted in Physiology, but there is no Honor Physiology in my school.
