Schools I’m looking at: UT Austin(McCombs), Indiana(Kelley), UVA(McIntire), Georgetown(McDonough), Notre Dame(Mendoza), UMichigan(Ross)
Demographics: Live in Illinois, Indian Male, Parents went to college in India
GPA: Cumulative: 3.52 Weighted: 4.12 Mostly honors and AP’s, but freshman and sophomore year I didn’t put much effort in. GPA was pretty low then. Slight upward trend, junior year was better than fresh soph.
By the end of my senior year, my APS will include Apush(4), Psych, Lang, Compsci, Stats, BC, Econ, maybe Lit.
ACT: 33 composite(33E,34M,31R,33S), 34 superscore(35E,35M,31R,33S), 12(Perfect) on writing
SAT: 1460(School issued)
ECS: Public Forum Debate, 4 years, multiple time state finalist, 15+ local awards
BPA, 3 years, state finalist sophomore year, junior didn’t advance, senior year most likely be another state finalist
Business Club, 1 year, communications chair (People graduated, club kind of fell apart. Most likely won’t include it.)
Volunteer in local Indian community events, >20 Hours
Volunteer in organization that provides art and methods of coping for broken families, 50 hours>
Intern for a company specializing in business operations, worked with creating timesheets, quickbooks, filing bank statements , 2 years
Work at Men’s Wearhouse, 1 year
Other: Play saxophone, piano, guitar
Decent teacher recs, essays will hopefully be good.
I’m pretty stuck, do I have any chances for schools other than Indiana?
