CSUSM: Match
SDSU/USD: High Match
UCSD: High Reach (Need an SAT of 2000 or ACT of 30)

Your GPA is competitive, but your SAT score is lacking. Really prep this time around. Your race is not considered in admissions for California publics.

khan academy is the ticket for SAT prep.

a 2000+ SAT would open a lot of UC doors for you.

Good luck

With your current SAT, SDSU is a reach also. You might also tty the ACT- some people just do better with that test.

Are you instate for California? Just reiterating, the California public schools don’t use URM status to admit because it is against the law.

I think you would be in for San Marcos.
