Please chance me for Cal Poly SLO for Regular Decision for Fall 2015! Although decisions have been starting to come out recently, I’m just curious to know where my optimism should stand…

4 semesters of Algebra (if this includes Algebra I?) -reached desired amount
2 semesters of Geometry -reached desired amount
6 semesters of Advanced Math -reached desired amount + bonus
6 semesters of Language Other than English
6 semesters of Lab Science
5 semesters of Social Sciences -reached desired amount + bonus
2 semesters of Visual Performing Arts
3 semesters of Electives -reached desired amount + bonus

Work Experience: 11-15 hours per week (not related to major of choice)

Extracurriculars: 21+ hours per week in clubs and activities (held leadership positions)

Residency: SoCal
Ethnicity (if this matters): Asian

i think cal poly is a match for you. good luck. i have to say you must work really hard to maintain your gpa and work and ec activity. again, good luck~~~

I think you will get in because of your major. If you were trying to get into the engineering department, then you would be out of luck.
