Chance me for Cal State schools?

I am a junior right now, and I'm thinking of majoring in mechanical engineering.

So far (I can probably hold on to these grades):
CSU unweighted GPA: 3.8
CSU weighted GPA : 4.17

ACT/ writing Composite : 25 ( E22 M31 R24 S24 W8/12) I'm going to retake in April and shooting for at least a 28. I think I just had a bad day the last time i took it.

My Schedule this year:
H Physics
H Precal
AP Stats
AP Environmental Science
AP Psychology
English 4
US History
Health/Speech

My schedule next year is:

AP Calculus BC
AP Physics C
AP Econ
AP Govt
AP Lit
Intro to college engineering
AG mechanics and metal technologies
Ceramics (Need art credit)

I didn't start taking honors/ap courses until my jr year though (will that effect me?)

I have a few good EC's including NHS, Peer assistance learning program, a successful online production business that I started, over 100 cs hours, ect... But I know that they do not consider it.

The only thing that worries me is that I am a out of state student. ( I live in Texas)

Can someone please chance me for these schools:

Cal Poly Pomona (1st choice)
Cal State Long Beach
Cal State Fullerton
San Diego State
San Jose State
Cal State Northridge

and are there any other california colleges that might fit me? Thanks!

You should apply to UCs too because I predict you will get into almost all the CSUs and you have a good chance at Pomona and SD state. Calculate your UC GPA and post it and I’ll chance you for UC too.

It would actually be the same for UC schools. The only thing is that I’m not sure that I would be able to afford out of state tuition for a UC. Bump?

if you are out of state, why attending a CSU? there are other options.
