CSULB is probably going to be your best hope of getting in…

All the schools are high reaches :frowning: (maybe CPP could be a low reach)

consider going to a CC and then transferring!

chance back please http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1225356-compsci-schools-students-bad-stats-like-me-uc-chancers-please-look.html

They are all high reaches…You really killed your gpa there. If it brings your grade that much down it’s better to do regular classes. Your sat is not very good either.

try csu san marcos instead. You might get in csulb but I don’t think any of the others:(

the low gpa is due to dumb classes like health, french [took 1-3], philosophy, things like that.

and yeah my sat is pretty bad too :/

Yes, but the fact that you did not succeed in classes that are considered ‘shoo ins’ doesn’t really help:/, besides the fact that you go to the ‘worst school in ca’. Are you saying you had As/Bs in the ap classes?

yeah my ap classes were b’s for the most parts, and a couple of a’s.

All of those schools are super high reaches (not including the out of states). With your major, I’d almost have to say there’s no chance at all.

To be honest, you really should just go to community college and work your butt off there. Even if you do get into a CSU/UC out of HS, it doesn’t look like you’ll succeed in the curriculum. You’ll find that once in college, you’re going to have to deal with all those “dumb classes” again, except with more competition. So go to a CC and get used to the difficulty.

I was considering that, but how long will it take me to finish the units?

I mean, I already have 7 UC/CSU transferable units [took some summer courses, which would push my gpa higher] and I have a 3.8 college GPA, and I passed 2 AP tests, and hope to pass more this year, on top of a robotics class im taking which could also give me college credit. Roughly how long am I looking at for CC?
