<p>SAT- CR-530, Math-780, Writing-600 total (1910)</p>

<p>TOEFL-89 (poor I think :( )</p>

I worked for an NGO in rural underprivileged area
I am president of Debate , science , Nature club,
Organizing secretary of language club
Now I am working with Dreamcaster Foundation as a counselor of underprivileged schools.
I am private tutor of a kid who is in 8th grade</p>

<p>Honors and Achievements: I think my honors and achievements are not so bad. I got some High school distinction award and Student of the year for 2 years.</p>

<p>Personal Statement and Recommendations are good I think.</p>

@Saif11963 You’ll probably get the Presidential Scholarship at Caldwell(20k-full tuition the most).
Troy gives full tuition to students getting above 1220(cr and maths).
Howard has a trustee scholarship(tuition plus fees) for 1170+ to 1290, but it’s competitive.
But, your chances at others are quite low. Just don’t get your hopes up really high.
FOCUS ON THE ESSAY!!!

@saif11963 - Hmm. My view is that ALL of the schools listed for you are matches except for Colgate. Colgate is a reach, and maybe just a low reach as you are in their middle 50% with regard to the SAT, and your 3.9 GPA is good enough.

I think you will for sure be accepted to ALL of them except Colgate, and with Colgate, I give you a 50-50 shot.

You have an interesting mix of schools there. I would say that Colgate and Howard are VERY different places for example, and then Alabama is very different from those two. Usually when people throw up a list of schools, there’s a common thread. Did you research these schools to see if they would be a good fit for you?
