<p>My essay is about overcoming obstacles throughout high school using a metaphor involving running. Kind of cliche, but got good feedback the people I sent it to (all are very good at English)</p>

<p>It’ll be important to really distinguish yourself, since you’ll be competing with a lot of other Asians. Overall, though, you definitely look at least competitive for admissions.</p>

<p>It looks like you have decent chances, but you can never be too confident about getting into a school of Cornell’s caliber.</p>

<p>You’ve got a good shot, but as I V said, Cornell (and the other Ivy leagues for that matter) can never be a surefire deal. Nevertheless, you have strong stats which will definitely boost your chances.</p>
