Letters of rec will probably be good I hope, I’m not that great of an essay writer but I started early so I hope they turn out well.

I know I have great test scores, but my main concerns are that my ECs are kind of cookie-cutter and that a lot of the good stuff on my application (research, interning at a lab) I started junior year. I literally got the research project last week.

I’m trying to figure out which of my reach schools I have a decent shot at so I can prioritize (I’m not trying to write like a 100 essays lol). If there are any match schools that could fit me, I would greatly appreciate those as well. Thanks in advance!

Your stats seem to be good. What’s your class rank? Extracurriculars and awards seem good as well. Love that you founded an org to help children in Oakland, that will definitely shine on your application. I would encourage you to focus on more activities like that, as they show that you care about improving the world around you. Overall, you’re a strong candidate that has a chance at Caltech/Stanford/Penn, and I would say really good chance at Georgia Tech.

Looks like you have a good chance to me, but you can never know.

Looks like you got good chance. Just make sure you should your a well rounded student overall to them.

Good chance. However, lots of the astronomy people based on past posts have been rejected to most t20s for whateve reason.
