@soccerchic12…My guess would be that you have a fairly good chance of being accepted to Carlson. You’ve probably already seen this, but here’s the profile for admitted students for the various colleges from this fall.

<a href=“Academic Profile of Fall 2022 Admitted Freshman Applicants by College | Office of Admissions”>http://admissions.tc.umn.edu/academics/profile.html</a></p>

Your class rank is absolutely in line with Carlson’s stats. Your ACT score puts you in the same “window” as 83% of Carlson admits, but I would guess probably not in the top quartile. UMinn tends to be pretty “stats dependent” for admissions decisions, so with a low/middle 50% ACT score you should be alright but it’s possible that they might hold off for awhile on your decision. Good Luck!!

Thanks. I applied early October and haven’t heard anything, but obviously I still have time. Just know a lot of people who have been admitted.

I am also OOS. I applied 3 days after the application opened and got my acceptance yesterday to Carlson. Judging from what you said you should have no problem getting in. I got in with:
28 ACT
3.9 unweighted gpa
4.5 weighted gpa
5 ap classes scoring 3 or higher on all tests

Best of luck to you, I’m sure you will get in:)
