Chance me for Carnegie Mellon College of Engineering and Columbia SEAS; I’m trying to decide whether to apply to CMU or Columbia, so Ill apply to whichever one gives me a higher chance. I’m applying in Chemical Engineering.

Both schools have very low acceptance rates and you are past the ED decision deadline. Apply to both and be sure to have match and safety schools on your list. You seem to be a very strong applicant.

If you had posted before Nov 1 I would have said CMU, but yes now that you are past the ED deadline, both are probably equally as hard to get into.
