Chance me for Carnegie Mellon, Cornell and Chicago - WILL CHANCE BACK

Chanced you all back.

Looks great

CMU:match/high match
Cornell: high match/low reach, if your math and reading gets to 770 and 730 respectively, you’re in good shape.
U Chicago:low reach/reach depending on your essays it could be a high match.

Chance me back!

magnificent6: chanced you.

I think you are a great student.
Carnegie-high match(very possible though)
Cornell-high match(very possible though)
Chicago-match
Chance me please.

Cornell-Reach
Carnegie Mellon-Match
Chicago-Low Reach

premedwopo, you’re going to have to give me a link.

EDIT: silly me, I can just look it up. I’ll get back to you soon.

TBH, I don’t think your SAT scores need to be raised. I would focus more on figuring out why you are a good “fit” for each school, and then demonstrate that clearly. At this point, your SAT scores are high enough that it’s clear you’re academically qualified.

Omg our sat scores are the exact same! Haha anyways if you bring your GPA up, you have a really good chance of getting into cmu but its a low reach for Cornell and Chicago. Chance me back!

Cornell- Low Reach
CMU- High Match
Chicago- Low reach- Reach

Apply to more schools if financially possible. I don’t understand why you’d include EC from eighth grade. I think that is kind of silly. You’re better off just showing passion in one EC versus a few so-so EC. Please chance me back.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1435425-community-college-transfer-high-caliber-schools-am-i-nuts-chance-back-promise.html</a></p>

Carnegie Mellon- low reach
Cornell- low reach
UChicago- low reach

I think you’re good number-wise, but your EC’s are weak. 2 words: national recognition. I assume your passion/interest is academic according to your stats, so do something amazing in that subject area, and you’ll dramatically increase your chances not just here, but also for the tougher Ivies.

UChicago loves its essays, so I would agree with kiddo64.

Your scores are great but your EC’s are average at best…but that being said I think you will get into all 3

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1441731-chance-me-my-dream-school.html</a></p>

Sorry, I’ll chance you all back ASAP - I’m kinda busy right now.

But, quickly, what would you recommend I do to improve my EC’s? What would be a realistic way to get “national recognition”?
