•Weighted GPA (out of 4.0): 4.0

I'm not really concerned about my GPA and rank because I transferred two times and each school has a different system...

•Essays (rating 1-10, details): 8. Wrote about how my mom raised my up on her own and how I overcame the language barrier when I got to the US

•Recommendations (rating 1-10, details):
•Teacher Rec #1:11! My American history teacher is a college English professor, so he writes fantastic essays, and of course, fantastic letters of recommendation.

•Teacher Rec #2: 6. I was pretty close to my calc teacher, but I don't know why the letter of recommendation she wrote was so plain. It's like my resume v.2.0

•Counselor Rec: 7. She is new to our school this year but I think it's supposed to be good

•Additional Rec: From the sponsor of our Student Council

•State: PA

•School Type: Large Public(over 3000 students)

•Ethnicity: Asian

•Gender:F

•Income Bracket: <20K

•Hooks (URM, first generation college, etc.): First generation college, low income, new immigrant
I think my biggest hook is the fact that I've only been in the US for 2.5 years. Being a low-income and first-generation-college student, I lacked the resources and worked harder than everybody to get where I am today. I transferred to my current school in my junior year and became the president of the Student Council of a program in my senior year.

Please chance me for CMU...I am also open to any suggestions of good engineering schools near PA that might be a match to me
Thanks in advance for any reply :)
