<p>I know I have another chance thread posted, but this one is updated & more detailed. Please chance me for CAS (College of Arts & Science) at Cornell.</p>

Country: Canada </p>

<p>Note: applying for financial aid & my school doesn't offer an AP courses.</p>

<p>OBJECTIVE DATA
*SAT Superscore: 2200</p>

<p>*SAT IIs: Lit 630, Math II 640-will be re-taking this in January and will probably get 750+, Biology E 720</p>

<p>*Rank: Top 2%</p>

<p>*Average: ~94%</p>

<p>AWARDS
*a few awards from school (in different academic subjects)</p>

<p>*certificate of distinction in a nation-wide math contest (in the top 25% of all test-takers)</p>

<p>EC's
*volunteering at the hospital (200+ hrs)</p>

<p>*medical research mentorship at a different & very well-known hospital</p>

<p>*volunteer tutoring at school</p>

<p>*piano (selected to advance to provincials, various awards from music festivals, etc.)</p>

<p>*painting (displayed at a prof. art gallery, honourable mention in a nation-wide contest)</p>

<p>*vice-president of a new club at school (started it with a friend this year)</p>

<p>*part-time job at local community centre</p>

<p>Recs are excellent. Essays should be really good, too. There is no interview for CAS.</p>

<p>i think you have a pretty good chance. i think it dependso n the recs and essays and whether or not if youre an applicant theyre looking for. test scores, gpa, ecs very thing seems good so i guess its up to them now. good luck. i hope you got your suspected subject test scores because the anyhting in the 600s may become disadvantageous.</p>
